Loan Services
A BDC business loan may range from $5,000 to $35,000. We often partner with other local financial institutions, such as MCOG, our regional economic development district, and Coastal Enterprises, Inc, a local nonprofit financing institution. Loans fund equipment purchases, leasehold improvements, construction, and working capital. Loan applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The BDC Board meets regularly in order to consider loan requests in a timely manner.
Grant Services
The BDC occasionally offers small grants to businesses and nonprofits at the discretion of the Board of Directors. The BDC will occasionally release a call for proposals for a specific program and/or initiative. All grant requests must demonstrate a cash match.
