The Brunswick Development Corporation (BDC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit, provides business assistance services, seed funding, and loans to businesses located in the Town of Brunswick.
The goal of the BDC is to facilitate job creation, economic growth, and prosperity in Brunswick. For over two decades, the BDC has played a role in many economic development initiatives by providing start up and expansion capital.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Childcare is an essential service for businesses and workers and is critical for a sustainable Brunswick economy. The BDC Childcare Provider Assistance grant was established to support Brunswick childcare providers that have a demonstrable need for assistance related to the maintenance or expansion of their facility. Projects may include, but are not limited to, building renovations, playgrounds and outdoor spaces, equipment, and other capital needs related to licensing and operating the business.
Please fill out the application form below and return to scostello@brunswickme.org. The BDC will review applications on a rolling basis. Funds are limited so grant awards will be made on a first-come, first-served basis should the applicant meet the eligibility criteria and goals of the funding.
ELIGIBILITY
Childcare providers are eligible if they are state-licensed, in good standing, and serve a minimum of 10 children. In-home childcare businesses are not eligible for this limited grant funding. Applicants must show a financial need for funding in their budget and describe the impact the grant will have on the daycare program.
